LEARNING SUPPORT 

The goal of our specialist team of Learning Support staff is to ensure our students are able to operate to their full potential in the whole school English language environment. The main areas of learning support are English and Mathematics. The staff may work in small groups with the students being withdrawn from their classrooms or staff may work in the classroom supporting students to access the curriculum. If the teacher feels that a student would benefit from Learning Support they will make a referral to the Learning Support team

Counsellors 

Counsellors support the schools pastoral and learning support departments. Our counsellors support students to ensure that they are able to access all elements of the curriculum by working closely with students, staff and parents. This is done by arranging meetings with parents to inform of support in place and to agree to further support if required
